B&O American Brasserie: A Dining Experience

When you first enter B&O American Brasserie, you are greeted by a friendly host and chic atmosphere. The cushioned waiting area and black leather booths give off a sophisticated and elegant vibe and combined with amazing food it makes for the ultimate dining experience. Thanks to Profiles PR and B&O, our concierges were able to enjoy a night out at our latest Charm School* adventure.

From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were filled with excitement. The interior alone was enough to enchant us. Christina from Profiles explained that the restaurant had gone through renovations a few years ago and the new feel was very well received.

The downstairs area was a little more casual, where people could enjoy lounging at the bar or having a quiet meal. Upstairs on the mezzanine level, the booths and capabilities for private rooms gave off a more upscale environment.

When speaking with their event coordinator, Marissa, we learned guests could rent out an area as simple as the lounge on the first floor, the mezzanine level for parties of around 80 people, or even a restaurant buyout which would give you the run of both floors for your affair. It is the perfect place to host a meeting luncheon or holiday party. With valet parking and its location in the heart of downtown Baltimore, you cannot beat it!

Next was the tasting! The Executive Chef, Scott Hines, prepared a special select menu for us. Our group of 10 was offered appetizers including potato flatbread, crab salad and a charcuterie board. Entrees included a veal pasta, lamb, and the concierge favorite, scallops.

Desserts were described as being some of the best ever tasted, and included macaroon ice cream sandwiches and lemon bars.

Our favorite part of the evening was having Chef Scott come out and speak to us about each dish. He described all the ingredients used to prepare the food and how it was made.

He also took the time to tell us about his culinary background, the inspiration for B&O’s menu, and answer any questions we might have. It made for a personal and intimate food experience.

We cannot thank Profiles and B&O enough for this wonderful evening and look forward to working with them on future events!
