Just like us, the interior design world is inspired by the colors and prints seen on the runway. These four trends from CONDÉ NAST Traveler make it easier to incorporate runway fashion into your home.

Cobalt Blue

Runway To Room - Cobalt BlueCobalt blue made an appearance at several runway shows, including Rebecca Taylor’s. This color can stand alone or be used to complement lighter blues.

The deep blue adds a pop of color to this all-white room and also pairs well with the wall art and lighter pillows. It’s so rich and fabulous, perfect when paired with a grey or a pink!

Black and White Graphic Prints

Runway to Room - Black and White Graphic PrintsThe black and white color scheme is classic but pairs well with soft, neutral wood and a pop of color such as mint.

Graphic prints have become very popular this season, as seen in this Carolina Herrera dress, and add a modern twist to this look for your home!

Prints and Patterns

Runway to Room - Prints and PatternsMoroccan-inspired patterns have always been popular in fashion and interior design and Tory Burch’s Spring 2015 line is proof of that.

Bold prints featuring deep mocha and ivory tones are being adapted for the home and mix well with modern or antique decor.

Throw in a statement rug similar to the one picture to add an extra wow factor!

Ochre Yellows

Runway to Room - Ochre YellowIt’s being called “this season’s hottest color” – ochre made multiple appearances at NYFW. Designers including Tory Burch (pictured) are showcasing this hot new trend.

From runway to home design, ochre is making a splash and can be incorporated into just about any room. Condé Nast Traveler suggests pairing with rich velvet jewel tones.
