Ordering flowers online can often be troublesome, expensive and unreliable. Luckily, Charm City Concierge has just introduced the trendy new flower delivery service, Urban Stems, as a new vendor!
Urban Stems prides themselves on its fresh flowers, picked daily from local farms. It offers same-day delivery and includes personalized notes with each arrangement. Arrangements start at just $35 with free delivery in Baltimore, DC, NYC and Philly.
New bouquets are released each month so you know flowers from Urban Stems will always be in season and on trend. The flowers are beautiful, the price is right and you know you can relax when you forget your best friend’s birthday – Urban Stems to the rescue!
Fall mimosas, sake mules and sangria were popular choices from their drink menu. We got to sample risotto fritters and homemade chocolate chip cookies. All delicious and all highly recommended by our team!
The long dark tables were adorned with fresh, fragrant flowers for us to choose from; the excitement was palpable. Directions were easy to follow as Urban Stems sent two very knowledgeable gentlemen to teach us to make our elegant headpieces.
The process was interactive, aesthetically pleasing and of course – FUN! A foolproof way to spice up a DIY office event, ladies’ night, bridal shower, bachelorette party or just an excuse to play with flowers and enjoy a craft!
Step One: Bend 2 thin wires into a semi-circle, connect the two wires at one end with flower tape.
Step Two: Make about 5 or 6 separate boutonnieres, cut stems to about 3 inches and cover with flower tape.
Step Three: Use flower tape to tape each boutonniere to the wires.
Step Four: Don your lovely new crown made of fresh buds!
Step Five: Take a SELFIE!
Contact your concierge to place an order with Urban Stems or to begin planning your next DIY event. Flower crowns are all the rage and quite frankly – we’d like an excuse to make another!
