Washington Woofstock 2016

Come out to celebrate man’s best friend at DC’s premier dog-friendly event! There will be craft beer tastings, live music, food trucks and plenty of pups, of course!

Summer Paint Jam

Over 25 of DC’s most dynamic graffiti, fine art and street artists will be creating new works of public art along Rhone Island Ave. Stop by to watch the artists in action, meet local artists, vendors and learn about how you can support the art scene in DC!

Mason Dixie Biscuit Co. (DC’s premier biscuit shoppe) will be hosting a music, food and arts festival celebrating their second anniversary and the connection between local artisans and the community.


46th Annual Corn Roast Festival
Union Mills Homestead and Grist Mills
3311 Littlestown Pk., Westminster
Time: Saturday, 11am-5pm
Cost: $13 for adults, $6 for children 6-12, under $6 are FREE

Enjoy a delicious feast of fried chicken, applesauce, sliced tomatoes, rolls with butter, iced tea, lemonade, and of course, roasted corn. Throughout the day you can listen to jazz music, explore the gift shop, blacksmith shop, various vendors, and stoneground flours from the Mill.

Frederick Wine Festival

Be one of the first to check out Frederick’s first wine festival! This celebration invites you to sample wine from all across the state of Maryland, as well as taste food selections from local chefs!

Summer may be winding down soon, but enjoy some good old fashioned fun at this event with carnival rides, food, farm competition events, live music and more.

Double Bubble Run

Wind your way through a 1K obstacle course filled with bubbles, color stations and foam obstacles. Open to kids and adults of all ages! Race will be held in two sessions- register online for your timeslot.
