With the weather temporarily warming up just in time for the weekend, what better way to spend the days then getting out and exploring all the great things the DMV has going on! From the DC Craft Beer Fest to the Polar Bear Plunge, there is something going on for everyone to enjoy!

Invent. Experiment and to give educators the tools with which they can bring what they learn at Share Fair back to their classrooms.

In the tradition of the Grand Tasting, each attendee will be given a tasting glass and have the opportunity to try unlimited 2 oz tastings of approximately 150 craft beers from all over the country.  Food will be available for purchase for all attendees and there will be a selection of retail vendors on-site.  VIP and Connoisseur attendees will have the first hour to themselves to sample these great brews and our Connoisseurs will have a private lounge with rare selections and passed hors d’oeuvres throughout the session.  Expert seminars will be offered for all attendees (first-come first-served) that highlight key aspects of the craft beer industry including pairings, business, and more!

Frederick Restaurant Week is a 7-day promotion that features the unique and fine dining options available in the city of Frederick, Maryland and the surrounding area. Participating restaurants will offer fixed-price lunch and dinner options during Frederick Restaurant Week. Lunches are offered at $15.14 for a 2-course meal and $20.14 for a 3-course meal. Dinners are offered at $20.14 for a 2-course meal and $30.14 for a 3-course meal.

Every year, thousands of participants of all ages are daring enough to take a dip in the wintry waters of the Chesapeake Bay. In addition to the Plunges, attendees will enjoy a full-day winter festival featuring the Robert Andrews Salon & Spa, the Carnival FunFest tent with games, Astro Events Kids Zone, the Rams Head Ice Lodge and Beer Garden, food and other displays.

Want to taste the future of Paradise Springs? Attend the annual Barrel Tasting Weekend! Guests will have the opportunity to enter the barrel room and taste 9 different wines directly from the barrel. Led by their team of educators, assistant winemakers, and head winemaker, Rob Cox. Wines are from the 2013 vintage.No reservations needed or taken. Tastings will begin every 20 minutes and are on a first come, first serve basis. A complete tasting will last 60 minutes.
