Washington, DC Events

Dupont-Kalorama Museum Walk Dupont Circle Time: Saturday and Sunday Price: Free This weekend long event offers a variety of free activities for all ages, including special museum exhibitions, live music, food, demonstrations such as quilt making and sheep shearing, walking and biking tours. Capital Pride Festival Time: Friday Saturday and Sunday The event brings together national and local LGBT organizations with more than 50 diverse educational and entertainment events. Taste of Georgetown Wisconsin Avenue, NW, south of M Street in the heart of Georgetown Time: Saturday 11 am to 4 pm Price: $4 to $50 Sample dishes from approximately 25 of DC’s most distinguished restaurants at this food festival including live jazz, craft beer and wine, and a variety of entertainment for all ages!

Vintage Virginia Wine Festival Bull Run Regional Park 7700 Bull Run Drive Centreville, Virginia Time: Saturday 11 am to 6 pm, Sunday 11 am to 5 pm Price: $7- $135 This festival is one of the largest and longest-running wine events on the East Coast featuring tastings offered by more than 50 wineries including over 250 award-winning Virginia wines, educational seminars on food pairing, fine art exhibits, children’s activities, food and live entertainment.

Imagination Bethesda Along Woodmont Avenue and Elm Street in downtown Bethesda. Time: Saturday 11 am to 4 pm Price: Free This children’s street festival celebrates children and the arts, including musical performances, dance troupes, roving entertainment and hands-on art & craft activities.
