The cooler weather will be sticking around for the weekend, so be sure to grab a jacket and head outside to attend one or more of the great fall events taking place all around the DMV! We recommend attending the NoVa Brewfest or checking out the last weekend of Renn Fest!

Washington, DC Events:

The National Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) Day Odyssey is a biennial, outreach and education event dedicated to promoting the use of AFVs and advanced technology vehicles. Odyssey brings together organizations, vehicle manufacturers and businesses to showcase alternative transportation technologies and their benefits.

Get up close and personal with the musical talent of Washington at the second annual Adams Morgan PorchFest! The event transforms front porches of homes and local businesses into intimate performance spaces to be enjoyed by all. PorchFest creates a family-friendly, neighborhood-based alternative to the nightclub music scene with an eclectic range of styles from Brazilian, Irish and jazz, to indie rock, children’s music and even Egyptian Nubian folkloric.

Celebrate a Spooktacular Halloween at Tudor Place by previewing your best costume a few weeks early! Children in costumes are invited to trick-or-treat through the north gardens on the estate and participate in pumpkin painting, crafts, face painting, and games. Every October boaters from around the world gather in the historic seaport of Annapolis, Maryland for the United States Powerboat Show. In its 43rd year, this is the world’s oldest in-water powerboat show. Boaters have the unique opportunity to board and inspect most new models on the market, make side-by-side comparisons, and talk to industry representatives about all aspects of buying and owning a boat.

At the Northern Virginia BrewFest, more than 60 breweries will feature their best American beers.
