Crafty Bastards! Arts & Crafts Fair
Union Market, Washington DC
Time: Saturday-Sunday from 10am to 5pm
Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair is an exhibition and sale of handmade alternative arts and crafts from independent artists and features 140+ vendors. The event has grown to attract over 30,000 attendees who come for the fabulous array of crafts and the all-day entertainment that over the years has included b-boy battles, workshops, fire-eaters, kid-friendly rock shows, fashion shows, belly dancers and more!
Das Best Oktoberfest
DC Armory, Washington DC
Time: Saturday from 12pm to 6pm
Das Best Oktoberfest will feature all you can taste privileges for guests for over 150 unique beers, German wines and schnapps. There will be several concessionaires offering the best sausages and German food in DC, oompah bands and polka bands, contests such as “The Best Beer Belly Competition” & “The Miss Oktoberfest Competition” and much more! The Annual Turkish Festival is a family-friendly festival celebrating authentic Turkish art and culture with a rich variety of live musical and folk dance performances. Bobby McKey’s Kids’ Day

Enjoy the afternoon with your family and friends and Bobby McKey’s for the famous dueling piano show! The venue is normally open to adults only, but will open up for an afternoon of family fun! 9th Annual Maryland Microbrewery Festival
Time: Saturday from 11am to 7pm
Cost: Adult/beer sampling $20, Non-beer sampling $5. Under 12 years free.
This fun-packed festival will celebrate and promote the best of Maryland’s hand-crafted and distinctive microbrews. Fourteen breweries with over 30 types of beer, food, vendors and music!
The Baltimore Book Festival

In celebration of Lovettsville’s German heritage, the community in Loudoun County, Virginia celebrates Oktoberfest with food, crafts, and entertainment. Oktoberfest includes over 120 street vendors set up throughout Old Town, traditional music and dancing, beer and wine! There will be a Kinderfest for the kids with FREE games, rides and activities.
