Lotus and Water Lily Festival

Honoring the blooming of lotus and water lilies at the gorgeous Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens, this family-oriented celebration lauds the picturesque plants with gardening workshops, Asian and African dancing performances, and hands-on activities like face painting and lotus tea tasting.

DC Scoop: Ice Cream Social

DC’s sweetest event is back! Enjoy frozen treats and savory snacks from your favorite ice cream shops and local food trucks. After sampling, vote on your favorite flavors and help crown the People’s Choice winner for best ice cream.

International Colombian Festival
RFK Stadium

Time: Sunday, 10am-8pm

Tu musica, tu gente, tu ambiente, tu aguardiente! Celebrate Colombian Independence Day (July 20th) early with music, family activities, games, traditional food, arts and crafts, and the passionate spirit of Colombian folklore. Step and twirl along with Latin Grammy-winning sensation Toto La Momposina, along with other salsa, reggaeton, cumbia, and hip hop performances.

Ladew Gardens- Grooving in the Grass- Summer Concert Series

Get into the luau spirit! Enjoy beautiful views of the gardens while you listen to fun Caribbean and Latin music. Don’t forget your best soca, samba and tango moves!

 

VIRGINIA EVENTS
Rosslyn Cinema + Pub in the Park

Come out for an outdoor movie with games, drinks and dinner. Watch The Father of the Bride while enjoying food from Saffron Gourmet & Tacos Matadores. The Pub in the Park will be offering beer, wine and seasonal sangria to top the night off.  Street parking is available. Atlantic Parking on N. Moore Street is $3 after 6 pm until midnight.

First Annual Crab Feast

JB Seafood, Old Ox Brewery and Tarara Winery join together to present the First Annual Crab feast. Come out to enjoy as much crab as you can eat from 1pm-4pm along with wine, music and games until 6pm.
