Washington, DC Events:
399 M St SW, DC
Time: Friday, 4-10pm
Every fourth Friday, head to the DC Waterfront for a diverse mix of arts, crafts, jewelry, furniture, accessories, and other local handcrafted products. Enjoy an evening of flea markets, food, live music and fun!
301 Water St SE, DC
Time: Saturday, 1-5pm
Washington City Paper is hosting an afternoon of wine tasting from 20+ wineries and live music! Tickets include unlimited samples along with a souvenir glass; and bottles will be available for purchase on site along with local food vendors, entertainment by local bands, and more!
National Capital BBQ Battle
Pennsylvania Ave (between 9th & 14th)
Time: Saturday, 11am-9pm; Sunday, 11am-7:30pm
Cost: $12 online, $15 at the gate
The National Capital Barbecue Battle is an annual competition between top BBQ restaurants from the DC area and the country. Enjoy food samples, cooking demonstrations, interactive displays, children’s activities and live entertainment including 30 rock, R&B, jazz, and blues bands.
Smithsonian Folk Life Festival
Time: Friday – Sunday, 11am-5:30pm
The annual Folk Life Festival celebrates several US and foreign cultures each year. This year’s focus is on Celebrate Peru’s diversity through cooking and craft demonstrations, music and dance performances, ritual and celebratory processions, and discussions.
Maryland Science Center

Price: Free with admission
Prepare to get dirty as you run, slip, and slide through one messy obstacle course! Highlights include a rooftop paint balloon drop, sure to get you covered from head to toe.

Baltimore’s Farmers’ Market and Bazaar is open for the season! There will be a huge variety of items available for purchase including fruits and vegetables, baked goods, dairy products, and dozens of food vendors! Vegan food items will be available.
Alexandria Food & Wine Festival

The Alexandria Food & Wine Festival is an annual event that transforms into a lively showcase of local food and wine with a full day of entertainment including music, arts and craft exhibits and children activities. Great Grapes has grown to be Leesburg’s premier wine festival with hundreds of wines available for tasting.
