We survived a rainy month of May and have reached the summery month of June—take advantage of all the great outdoor events!

Washington, DC Events:

Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience
National Building Museum
401 F. St. NW, DC
Time: Friday & Saturday 7:30-11pm
Cost: $135; this is a 21+ event

Craft beer and food will collide at this one of a kind event in DC.  You’ll be able to sample over 60 food & beers expertly paired to each flavor profile.  Your ticket will include unlimited tastings, a variety of artisan cheese & oyster samples, commemorative glasses and a parting gift.

World Ocean Day 2016
Museum of Natural History

Explore and appreciate ocean science with interactive activities throughout the museum.  Family friendly activities include arts and crafts, talks with oceanic experts and much more!

Annapolis Arts, Crafts, and Wine Festival

Pair your favorite wines with some lovely crafts this weekend! Sample wine from over 25 Maryland wineries as you listen to smooth jazz and taste delicious dishes. There will be a children’s area including theater, dance and musical performances.

Feast of Saint Anthony Italian Festival

Whether you’re Italian or just enjoy Italian cuisine, come out and enjoy this special festival! Dine on calzones, broccoli rabe, fried dough, and pasta. Italian wines and beers will also be available. Activities include game wheels, souvenir shopping, a Roma Sausage eating contest, bocce tournament and a cannoli filling contest.

Herndon Festival
Downtown Herndon, VA

This annual event attracts over 80,000 people per year! The festivities include live music, arts and crafts, children’s areas, lots of delicious food, and evening firework displays on Thursday and Saturday evening.

Fountainhead Off-Road Half Marathon/10K

Trail runners will love this beautiful race course which will take you through rocks, streams, and hills along the Occoquan Reservoir. Participants will receive a complimentary t-shirt and hi-res photos that will be available for download after the race.

Vintage Virginia Food & Wine Festival
