Festivals, lights, and egg hunts galore! Enjoy Spring in the DMV this weekend!



La Grande Fête: DC Francophonie Festival

Cost: Tickets $40 in advance

Music, dancing, food and drink from worldwide embassies of French influence. Giveaways, and networking opportunities abound at this event for young professionals (21+) seeking unique and culturally relevant after-hours fun!

Cherry Blossom Wine and Beer Festival
Yards Park
1300 1st St. SE, DC
Time: Saturday 1-4pm and 6-9pm; Sunday 1-4pm
Cost: $41-89

This festival of bubbles and brews includes food trucks, games, and live music on the Waterfront. This event is 21+.

Blossom Kite Festival
National Mall
17th St. NW and Constitution Ave., DC
Time: Saturday, 10-4:30 (rain date Sunday)
Cost: FREE

Go fly a kite! The high-flying sky spectacle on the mall will showcase the talent of kite artisans and expert competitive flyers from around the globe. You’re invited to bring your favorite kite, or children can make one onsite (while supplies last).


Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Festival
Maryland State Fairgrounds- The Cow Palace

Time: Friday, 6-10pm; Saturday, 12-6pm for VIP, 2-6 for regular admission

Enjoy your day sipping on beer and bourbon, tasting barbeque and listening to some country tunes! Admission includes a sampling glass.

Spring Festival @ Ticonderoga

Attend the Spring Festival at the amazing Ticonderoga Farm! Easter Egg Hunts will take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-2pm (with the Easter Bunny too)! The farm will also have slide hills, jumping pillows, hayrides, animal feeding areas and a swinging bridge.
