Shortcut to Europe: European Union Embassies Open House

Green Festival
Washington Convention Center

Time: Saturday, 10am-6pm; Sunday, 10am-5pm
Cost: 16 and under- FREE, Adults – $12 and up

Healthy living demonstrations, marketplace, motivational speakers and lots of green-friendly vegetarian/vegan food make this annual green-living event the largest in the area.

DC Bike Ride
Starts at West Potomac Park., ends on Penn. Ave. near the US Capitol
Time: Saturday, 8am-1pm
Cost: $35 for ages 8-18 until 5/11, $70 per adult rider and 8-18 after 5/10

Pedal your way around scenic DC on a 20 mile route of car-free cycling to kick off Bike to Work Week! At the finish line, enjoy a celebration with food trucks and live entertainment. Register early for discounts.
