Around the World Embassy Tour

This annual event celebrates international culture by showcasing 50 embassies with a range of educational and cultural programming. Participants can experience the food, art, dance and music of a number of different countries within a few miles.

Vino Fest DC Wine and Food Festival

Cost: $55

Taste wine, craft brews and specialty cocktails from The District and around the globe. There will be food from DC’s best restaurants and food trucks, while you enjoy a great lineup of live music!

Flower Mart 2016

Join the All Hallows Guild of the National Cathedral and celebrate the 77th Annual Flower Mart! Check out international floral displays from various embassies, shop for a last minute Mother’s Day gift or ride the antique carousel. There will also be a large selection of herbs, flowers, hanging baskets and more for sale.

Celebrate spring with this family-fun festival! There will be prizes, entertainment, shopping, and beautiful flowers for purchase. Don’t forget to try one of the festival’s signature treats, lemon peppermint sticks!

Millstone’s Apple Blossom Festival
Baltimore County Agricultural Center

Time: Saturday, 12-6pm
Cost: $15 online, $20 at the gate

Taste and buy Millstone’s ciders and meads as you learn the process of what goes into making these tasty beverages. There will be interactive activities like barrel races and plant walks, talks, music and a film screening of Songs of the Basques.

Mother’s Day at Ladew Gardens

Cost: $13 for adults; $4 for children 2-12

Celebrate mom as you explore the gardens in peak bloom and tour the Manor House. Afterwards, enjoy lunch in the Ladew Café, where mom can get a special free treat!

Join fellow animal lovers at the annual festival that brings together the community and local animal rescue organizations for a day of fun activities and adoptable furry friends. Virginia Gold Cup

The Virginia Gold Cup is one of the nation’s largest steeplechase races set in the heart of Virginia horse country. The event is one of the region’s largest and oldest outdoor events featuring some of the finest horses in the world competing over hurdles, timber and on the flat.
