From fossils to food trucks to Fleet Week, there are quite a few events in the DMV this weekend. Spend your time sampling tasty cuisine, appreciating fine artwork, or getting into the Halloween spirit!

WASHINGTON, DC EVENTS

Curbside Kickoff 2016

The DMV Food Truck Association will be hosting the original food truck festival this weekend. Sample great food and drinks, browse mobile retailers and watch your favorite food truck chefs battle it out for a great cause.  

American Field Pop Up Market

National Fossil Day at the Museum of Natural History

Time: Saturday 10am-4pm
Cost: FREE

Fossil-themed activities will be at the forefront at this all-day family festival. Explore the ongoing research at the FossiLab, handle fossils, chat about them with museum scientists, and finish off the day at the IMAX Theater watching Dinosaurs Alive! 3D.

MARYLAND EVENTS

19th Annual Bethesda Row Arts Festival

Bethesda will be transformed into an outdoor art gallery for this weekend only! View fine arts and crafts from artists throughout the Bethesda area. Live music will be playing for your enjoyment and delicious dining options include restaurants throughout the area.

Halloween on the Green

Bring the kids in their favorite costumes to this safe daytime Halloween festival. Festivities include pumpkin carving, a petting zoo, storytelling, face painting, popcorn and cotton candy, and even a visit from the Vienna Singing Princesses.

Northern Virginia Fall Brewfest
