Six generations of farmers cultivate the land and with such variety its hard not to fall in love with all that Stribling has to offer. Apples are available mid-August through early November. Starting in September they also offer fresh cider and pre-picked pumpkins.

Only at Great Country Farm can you pick your own pumpkins and apples, fire pumpkins from a cannon, enjoy cider donuts, get lost in a corn maze, visit with the pumpkin princess, cheer for your favorite swine at the infamous Oinkintucky Derby, and watch P-Rex, the pumpkin munching dinosaur.
Fun on the Farm
Once you’ve collected your apples and pumpkin, it’s time to play on the farm! Corn mazes and hayrides are great for family outings, date night or a day out with friends. Many local farms offer these and other fun fall activities to keep you entertained all season long.

It’s hard to find a farm in the District but Boo at the Zoo is an annual kid-friendly favorite with treat stations, decorated trails, animal demonstrations, entertainment stage, hay maze and scarecrow field.

Halloween Pub Crawl

This October, the action starts at The Point In Fells bar. From there, you’ll get your map, your drinking cup, and your certified Baltimore Pub Crawls wristband which entitles you to take advantage of all the drink specials and admission into all of the participating venues for free along with drink specials!
Clarendon Ballroom Annual Halloween Bash
